Brickmate working name

An AI triathlon coach that talks to you and keeps adjusting the plan.

It interviews you, builds a periodised plan from your own training data, checks in every morning and moves sessions when life happens. I built the first version for my own IRONMAN. Now I'm turning it into an iPhone app.

One email when the app is ready to try, nothing else. How we handle your email.

Getting to know you

What's your goal race, and when is it?
A 70.3 in June. First one.
How many hours a week can you train right now, and which sport feels weakest?
About 7. Swimming, by a mile.
Got it. Do you have a recent 5k, or a pool test I can use to set your zones?
5k in 24:30 in August.
Thanks. I'll build 32 weeks: base, build, peak, taper, with extra swim technique in base.

Today

Readiness: lower than usual

Your HRV is down and you slept 5 h 40. I moved the threshold run to Thursday and made today easy.
Easy spin45 min · zone 2
Swim drills30 min · technique
Threshold runmoved to Thu
Can I swap the swim for tomorrow? Pool's closed.
Done. Tomorrow is now swim + a short run off the bike. Plan updated.
A daily check-in that re-flows the week

Race forecast

From your recent paces. Updated weekly. An estimate, with a range.

Swim 1.9 km41–46 min
Bike 90 km2:58–3:12
Run 21.1 km1:55–2:06
Finish5:45–6:15

Biggest lever: swim. Two technique sessions a week are worth more than extra bike hours right now.

A race-time forecast that updates as you train

Design preview: an example athlete, not a real person's data. The app is not out yet.

Built on your data

Reads your workouts, heart rate, sleep and HRV from Apple Health, which already collects them from an Apple Watch and from most Garmin, Wahoo and Oura setups.

Established training science

Periodised plans with base, build, peak and taper, and zones set from your own tests and races, not a generic template.

Chat, not settings

Tell it you're travelling, sore or short on time, and it rewrites the week. A push each morning tells you what today is.

Honest forecasts

A finish-time range per discipline that tightens as the data comes in, and says which sport to work on.

Why I'm building it

I wrote my own AI coach to train for IRONMAN Calella-Barcelona on 4 October 2026. It reads my watch, ring and training log, plans my weeks and predicts my race time. It's a pile of scripts on my laptop. The app is that coach for everyone else, on the phone, with no scripts.

Training guidance, not medical advice. If something hurts, see a professional.
